Intro

Hello, I'm Vu Tat Thanh, a former FAA-trained airline pilot now pursuing a major in Software Development. My journey has taken me from the skies to the world of technology, and I am excited about the opportunities this new path holds. Currently, my short-term goal is to find a suitable position within the tech industry where I can continue to learn and grow.

In the long run, I aim to achieve financial and mental security, ultimately leading to a balanced and fulfilling life. I have a passion for tennis, going to the gym, and spending quality time for myself, whether it’s gaming or learning something new.

I strongly believe in equity, not equality. To me, life is a journey where we cannot foresee the results or the destination, but we certainly can control how we react to the things and events along the way. I'm excited to bring my unique perspective and experiences to the tech industry and make a meaningful impact.

About

Originally worked as an airline pilot for Vietnam Airlines, but the COVID-19 pandemic and industry's challenges led me to a significant career shift. While my background in aerodynamic physics isn't directly applicable to my new direction, the skills I've developed—responsibility, self-discipline, and self-learning—are invaluable as I pursue a career as a Software Engineer.

Realizing this significant drawback, I'm always eager to learn and continuously improve my knowledge in this dynamic field. My specialties include quickly learning new skills, problem-solving, and programming languages. I am always curious about software and eager to learn new frameworks and principles used in web development or mobile development.

My journey from the skies to the world of technology is driven by a passion for growth and innovation. I believe that with determination and the right mindset, I can make a meaningful impact in the tech industry.
